4 Beliefs that Prevent You to Make More Money
Get rid of them asap

Have you ever wondered why some people make more money than the others?
Yeah, they can have a well-paying job, or a business that generate a lot of money,
But behind all the success you see, is the mindset that drives every single decision that lead up to where they are.
An airplane cannot get to the right destination without a pilot who can actually fly the plane.
Your thoughts and beliefs serve as the guiding force steering you toward your financial goals
Today, I'm going to highlight four mindset traps. If you fall into these, they might influence your actions and hinder your financial success in life.
But first, you might think this is some woowoo BS—how can mindset dictate the amount of money in your bank account?
Let me tell you a story about a 23-year-old aspiring actor who was struggling to find work back in 1985.
He did something unusual— he wrote himself a check for $10 million, dated it 10 years into the future, and noted it for “acting service rendered”
Despite the uncertainties and the struggles he faced, he kept that check in his wallet and bring it everywhere with him as a constant reminder.
Fast-forward a decade, and this actor had transformed into a household name with hits like Ace Ventura, The Mask, Dumb and Dumber.
Yes, it’s Jim Carrey.
His story teaches us that unwavering belief in your dreams can in fact manifest into reality.
Aim for the stars
Why did Jim Carrey wrote $10M and not $1M?
Because he can, and he dared to dream big
Most of us would probably be okay with $1M or even less than that.
And that’s what limit us from making more money.
Society wants us to have “attainable” and “reasonable” goals
But the problem of this is that you just put a ceiling over your head.
We often think and talk in not-big-enough numbers, it then drives our action into only doing things that make “just enough” money.
By challenging conventional notions, we open ourselves to broader horizons and greater financial potential, fostering a mindset that allows us to dream big without self-imposed limits.
Remove yourself
“What can I do to make more money, so I can support my family?”
“How much money do I need to make to be successful?”
We often say this to ourselves, but…
All this talk only makes you feel better about yourself.
But the truth is, no one is going to give you money so you can feel better about yourself.
I truly believe that You can have whatever you want in life if you can help others achieve what they want.
This mindset that prevent most of us from making more money is that we always think about ourselves instead of others.
But in reality, you can only generate more money the more value you can bring to others.
Speaking of value
We were told that to make more money we have to work longer hours, picking up more shifts and overtimes.
Although that might be true when you work at a job, but then you’re still limited by how much hours you can work per day.
To make more money, you have to shift your focus from trading time for money to providing value for money
It doesn’t matter how much time you spend on a project
How much it’s worth will be determined by how others value your work
That means you can make thousands or more from working only an hour
Or, you can make little to nothing for a month worth of work
The more time you work doesn’t mean the more money you make
You have to ask yourself this question, “Does my work provide any value to others?”
Bonus tips, the bigger the problem you can help someone, the more money they are willing to spend.
Last but not least
This has to be the most important one, and the hardest one to cultivate.
I have a friend who always shares with me new ideas and business ventures that he wants to pursuit
But there’s one problem, he never goes after any of them
The man is all bark but doesn’t bite
He’s a wantrepreneur not an entrepreneur
You know what his issue is?
It’s that he’s always afraid of competitions, and always feel like there’s a limited amount of demand for such products/services
This mindset prevents him from taking any action to pursue a business venture
The root of his problem is a scarcity mindset, where he perceives others' success as a threat to his own
It’s normal for us to have this scarcity mindset, the fact that most of us grew up without a silver spoon in our mouths, and money was always the one topic that our parents fight about.
But we have to let go of the fear that money is scarce
We have to believe in the limitless opportunities of wealth
And be open to the idea that there’s plenty of money to go around, for everybody.
This is what they call An Abundance Mindset
Speaking of being abundance with money, one more thing I see a lot of people struggle with
It’s true that you don’t need money to start making money.
But if you’re already making money and feel like there’s a stagnation in your growth, perhaps, you are being stingy with spending money to either invest more into yourself, or spending more money to hire others that free up your time to do more important tasks in your business.
You have to see money as a tool and be open to use that tool as an investment for your own success.
To summarize, these are 4 mindset shifts that will help you make more money:
Think and talk in bigger numbers
Remove yourself out of the equation
Value Creation
Abundance Mindset
The thing is, everything I told you will be completely useless if you don’t develop the right habits that can make your financial goal a reality.
