A term that describes the same ideology but with more nuance

Now, what tf does this mean?

It means you plan your life and organize your finances in a way that allows you to confidently say “F*** YOU” and walk away from people or things without feeling trapped or dependent

For example:

Your boss pisses you off… F*** YOU

Your landlord is being a dick… F*** YOU

You get the point

And the way you do this is to have enough money, just enough—which doesn’t require much

Don’t buy a house, let the landlord deal with all the maintenance and the crap that breaks down.

Don’t drink (sh*t is expensive and it can kill ya)

If your friends peer-pressuring you into drinking…

why did I say not to buy a house?

No house,

No commitment.

Just pack your stuff and leave whenever you want to.
