The Launch of 'Twitter Killer'

Elon vs. Mark - Cage Fight

Hello, happy Thursday!

As usual, my alarm goes off at 8am. I don’t want to get up. I can’t open my eyes. The dogs were scratching at the door asking to go outside. I got up. With my eyes closed, I open the door to let them out.

My mouth is dry. I walk to the kitchen. I chug the entire bottle of water. I’m now quenched. I brush my teeth, then I do my 3-step skincare routine (cleanse-tone-moisturize). My face is clean and fresh.

I pull out my phone to check Twitter. And HOLY MOLY.

What is going on?!?! The last time Zuck tweeted was 11 years ago.

That’s when it hit me. Meta just launched ‘Twitter killer’ — Threads!

(that explains the spiderman meme). HAHA a freaking power move from Zuck.

Anyways, If you haven’t tried using it yet. It’s just like Twitter. You can re-tweet or quote-tweet other people’s post.

After spending a brief 5 minutes scrolling, it reminded me of the early days of Facebook when people freely shared their random thoughts.

Just 4 hours after its launch, you could sense the FOMO (fear of missing out) from those who were late to join Twitter (including myself). Now, they are eager to be the early adopters of Threads, flocking to this app.

Get ready for a few absences at the office today. Some folks have called in sick. But in reality, they're staying home cooking up a marketing plan, building an audience on Threads to kickstart their one-person business.

Threads might be your chance to start writing and sharing your thoughts (if you are the type of person who refuses to use Twitter).

Alright, see ya on Threads.

Thanks for reading this unusual article that has nothing to do with self-improvement haha.

If you’re not on Threads yet, why aren’t you?

Don’t forget to drop me a follow while you're there 😅

p.s: Who do you think is going to win?

If you say Elon… this will convince you the opposite.

Later!
