The belief that keeps you poor

How is it that one single belief can have an impact on your financial life?

Today I want to share with you this one belief that, when let go, has the potential to change your life—just as it did for me, getting me out of the cycle of living paycheck to paycheck

People always say, “Money doesn’t buy happiness”,

But have you seen anyone cries in their lambo? 😂

Of course, you can’t go to Walmart or Target to literally buy Happiness

But the people who often say, “Money can’t buy happiness” are the ones that struggle the most with money.

Imagine when one of your family members got really sick and needed a surgery, but you couldn’t afford to get them healthcare.

In this case, would money be able to buy you happiness?

Money could literally save your family member’s life.

There’s a stigma when it comes to money.

We see rich people flash their money to buy designer clothes, we see them drive around in their luxury cars, and go on vacations with their private jets.

And because of that, the majority of us who don’t come from money starts to look at money as something that is shallow and evil.

But in reality, money is a piece of paper that helps everyone transfer value.

You go to work and provide value to the company, in exchange for some “Benjamins”.

The more value you can provide, the more 💵 you are going to make.

So inherently, money isn’t good or bad.

Everyone has to play the money game in order to survive in this day and age,

It’s no longer optional

In order to do the things that you were sent to this Earth to fulfill, you need to take care of your needs, and the only way to do that is to win the money game, so you don’t have to worry about money and focus on your “passion”

So instead of giving up on playing the money game, you should be asking yourself, “How can I play this game better”

So what is the one thing to help you play the money game better?

It’s to let go of the lie that your family has been telling you,

The lie that society has brainwashed us into believing in

It is…

the “I don’t care about money” lie

How we think is how we act.

By getting rid of this belief and start treating money as value, it will help drive your actions and your behavior into doing things that help your financial life.

Long story short, when I had this realization, I was able to ask for more money either from the current job that I was in, or I from a different job that I was applying for, because I believe what I bring to the table is valuable.

Asking for more money doesn’t make me greedy or evil, but asking for more money shows my commitment and my ability to provide exceptional value.

So, do care about money, do give a sh*t about money

If you don't care about something, you’ll neglect it, and neglecting money in your life will result in an unhappy ending.

Alright that’s all for this week, ✌️

p.p.s: Random advice, but, be transparent when it comes to money with your partner. It’s the hard-to-swallow pill, spitter is a quitter.
