8 ways to learn anything FAST (Backed by Science)

School has failed us miserably.

Even after spending years in school, many of us are missing a key skill needed for success in life.

This particular skill is extremely important in life, no matter where you are and what you’re trying to achieve.

And that’s the skill of “learning how to learn”

Whether you like it or not, we have to learn new things all the time

Got a new job? Gotta learn all about how everything works within that new company.

Got a baby? Gotta learn how to take care of that newborn

Got a new house? Gotta learn a few handyman tricks when something breaks around the house.

It can be difficult and time-consuming when you’re trying to learn something new.

And the longer it takes you to learn something, the more time it takes you to achieve your goals

So today, I’m going to show you 8 scientific ways that anyone can use to speed up the learning process.

It works regardless of what you're trying to learn, and your current knowledge level on the subject doesn't play a role.

Back in 2020, the world was shutting down, and there was me (unemployed) with 6 months of expenses in my bank account.

Without these techniques, I don’t know if I could learn how to code and get a job within 6 months.

They had helped me in a life changing way, so I hope you’ll find them as useful as I did.

1. Take notes by hand

We can type faster than we can write, so by taking notes by hand, it allows your brain to have time to digest the information.

2. Read out loud what you want to remember

The act of transferring what’s in your head out in to verbal words is more involving, and it allows things to stick longer

3. Split up your study sessions

Don’t try to cram everything all in one session.

Your brain will overload and become numb to any new information.

Just study a little bit throughout the day.

For me, I find it easy to focus for 45 min, have a 5-min break and continue.

4. Teach someone else

When you teach others, you force your brain to retrieve and organize everything you just learn, and then transfer that knowledge into verbal words.

This allows you to understand the concept even more.

5. Connect new knowledge with familiar concepts

Relating new information to something you already know, draw connections between them, will reduce the overall load of information you’re trying to remember.

6. Quality Sleep

I think you already know this.

Just get enough sleep, please.

7. Regular exercise

Exercise doesn’t just work out your body, it also works your mind as well.

So if you want a strong mind, go get that strong body!

8. Change your environment

I used to get so bored with sitting at the desk at home, until I started going to coffee shops and just study there.

For some reason, I was able to focus so much better in public, instead of switching tabs and getting distracted. (oh, make sure you bring noise cancellation headphones)

If you can’t go anywhere else, try moving your desk around the room, or go study on a coach (or even dining table)

Alright, go try one of these and speed up your learning process!
